Kind of sad they didn't do an actual burnout for the pictures. It's obviously dry ice seeing that the wheel is stationary or they have a very good camera with an extremely fast shutter speed. It's such a capable car to do one. But I love the new badge and how much better it looks next to that Camaro. I can't wait for one to come out and buy one.

Sorry Jalopnik, false claims bad.

*sigh*

Since I'm feeling lazy and don't feel like tearing your argument apart piece by piece here as well, I will simply link you to the appropriate comment thread on that very article.

Make sure you look at the picture of the helicopters; their blades spin quite a bit faster at the tips than a mustang's wheel could ever hope to. If a modern DSLR can freeze a helicopter's tips in mid-flight, then it will have no problem freezing a mustang's wheel.

Is it supposed to look any different than a '10 doing a burnout? Oh yeah, the badge. :-)

I did say really good camera with good shutter speed or dry ice. It's in what you quoted.

The last, separated line in your post conveys far more than a snippet buried inside of it.

Fair enough. Things do tend to get lost in the blob of a paragraph sometimes.

Pics are cool, but too bad it's not a video.

Lame burnout pics.
At least throw in a sideways drift during the burnout.
As "other publications" have shown, the V6 Mustang can produce that much some from a clutch slip, brake stand burnout.
They got their hands on a prepro 5.0 and that's the most important thing they felt they could do with it?
Fire someone.
