2010 headers.....help

Default 2010 headers.....help

put bbk shorty headers on 2010 gt,getting cel.i have a 93 bama tune,and they said i dint need a tune for the headers.code is po135.i have already changed the o2 sensor on driver side,and cel still comes on.starting to get really frustrated...might put stock manifolds back on.any help would be appreciated.the sound is really great

When you replaced the o2 sensor did you reset your ecu? Undo the battery connection and let it sit for 10 minutes then reconnect. It takes 3-5 restarts of the car to clear the code once it is tripped, if you didn't reset and the sensor is good it would take a few starts to go away.

If that doesn't work, try checking the passenger side connection or replacing the passenger side sensor. The cel code is for o2 sensor heater failure. Maybe also check your fuses to make sure the circuit powering the sensor heater isn't blown

Did they turn the rears off in your tune? If not, you might want them to update it.

With that code it is possible the o2 sensor was damaged during the install. I would check all of the connections to the o2's. And go from there.
