Default Shifting issue's finally being reconized widescale...

While watching the NBC New's just moments ago, there was a segment about the current Mustang's having a serious safety issue; it stated that drivers were experiencing problem's with the manual gearbox, halting them from shifting while driving.

I know this is old new's but now that this problem has been addressed more seriously, maybe Ford will take it more seriously now?!

I haven't heard many reports of that... I think i've seen more people reporting #8 piston popping that shifting issues.

Really? Do you live under a rock?

I Googled "Ford Mustang Shifting" and got over 10 million results: http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...stang+shifting

The shifting issues could be from numerous things. The first being the pedal box causing the clutch pedal to remain depressed. But I only heard of that during full throttle accelerations.
The next being the MT82 rough shifting, which mne does, but I have not had mine lock me out of any gear. A professional aftermarket guy had theirs break in 3rd gear. Another guy showed his stick stuck in 3rd or 4th and it would not budge out no matter how hard he tried to force it out. That is on YouTube.

Ford has a TSB for the difficult shifting due to flywheel bolts coming loose and I think the same TSB is also to put an additive into th gearbox.

There are several video's on on youtube about it, it's the only thing that upsets me about these cars. Why build such a great car and put a $400 Chinese made tranny in it?
