ARH shows 32 RWHP before the tune! It is true!

It's been awhile since I last looked up results on LT header's dyno #s but I've never seen anyone gain anywhere near that even with a tune and full exhaust, let alone headers only on the 5.0. I call BS, find sources other than the manufacturer's dyno results. I'm pretty sure what ive seen is .1-.2 and 10-15whp gained over having o/r X and cai.

Likely what they didn't post is that they cut the cats out of the stock mid-pipe to get the LT headers to fit. i'm still not buying 32rwhp untuned gains though.

Definitely no cats +1

I did notice I got alot of torque back from when I replaced my intake too; power is still very peaky over 7K.

Whats your car putting to the rollers with all the mods in your sig?

No idea. Eventually I'm going to find time to get it dynoed and I'll post the results. Not sure what to expect with a automatic, but from what I read there is about a 12% drivetrain loss.

i would guess you are sitting around 415-420whp. if you had an off-road X i'd add 10whp to that figure.

i'd also guess with drag radials and good DA you would be running around 11.7@117mph in the 1/4.

I've walked cars with 425whp before my headers and they had a very similar weight/ power ratio as my car, that throws off my guesses for what I'm putting down to the rear, especially now with headers cause there is a discernible difference in pull.

I got some 325 mickeys on the way and pretty soon I'm going to try and replace the 3.15 gears with 3.73s. I'm hoping that should give me some respectable time-slips.
