Have you looked at your ACT sensor (air charge temp sensor)? I know that mine ran rough until I pulled that sensor out and realized it was caked. I replaced it and havent had a problem since.

I did fix the problem and for some reason I had it in my head that I posted the fix. Sorry about that.

All it needed was another o2 sensor. Like I said, I just replaced one when I did my x-pipe and if anything it just made things worse. I should have done both but I am cheap and did not realize how much they cost when I got there. I replaced the other one and the problem is totally gone. Actually, the car has never run better! It feels like it may actually have a couple more hp or better throttle response.

Good to know. I think mine are still the originals! (No codes) I plan on changing them this week since I'm going to drive the car to northern Illinois and back this weekend. I'm hoping that it will increase MPG to offset the cost.

I just re-read the original post to refresh my memory. I would have not guessed the O2 sensor as being the problem since they are more of a part throttle influence after the car has been running for at least five minutes. Things that make ya go...hmmmmm.

Cool 91 mk7 (same issue)

....
...
So i have been reading the string here...
..seems that even though no o2 sensor codes spit out-the sensors might still need to be replaced to solve idle issues and bla bla bla.
SD is tricky-realy PITA.
