Congrats on the new wheels!!!

They look AWESOME on the blue~!!!! Very nice choice..

I am sorry to hear about the tires......I wouldn't have thought they had that kind of issues with traction....

I do have the Invo's, and these tires are SUPER sticky. I used to spin my tires a lot with the torque tune I have, but once I got the Invo's that all but completely stopped. I couldn't believe the difference.

I do like the wheels....they look great!

If you look for it, tirerack always has a comparison chart for like types of tires.
One example:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...jsp?type=UHPAS

After doing the research, I see which ones are available in the size, UTAG,
Traction, Temperature and Speed ratings that I want.
Also, if you look at the specs. it gives you revolutions per mile, section width, contact patch, tire height, etc.
It took me several hours of research to decide on my new shoes.

I ended up with Goodyear Eagle GT 255/40ZR-18 on the front and
B.F. Goodrich Super Sport A/S 275/40ZR-18 on the rear.
(I would have got the Goodyears for the rear as-well except they were not available in 275/40-18)
These replaced the O.E.M. 245/40ZR-18 Comp T/A's on all four corners.

Mine is a Supercharged '97 Cobra. After less than 100 miles, no problems with traction!

Done. About the paint, what paint should i use? I was about to just spray it down with the black caliper paint i had, but i resisted. I plan on adding fogs behind the grill too.

Thanks man. Thats exactly what i was going for. I figured that my car sounds mean and the foose's are all pretty and shiny, just didnt go well.

Low profile tires are never going to have super great traction anyway partly due to less flexing of the sidewall (they're stiffer). There's a reason drag cars have small rims and a very large sidewall.
Nope, no reason. Purely for looks. I wanted that slammed/race car look, and im very please with the outcome.

I never was a fan of the fr500s myself, the black chrome got me though, and im very happy i did. & thank you.

p.s. i got a hold of matt and he is hooking me up, thanks nate!

Drift like hell, Wear them out and get the KDW's to match your fronts. Sorry about this problem. But new tires come coated and right from the start arent very sticky.
