I swap out my rims/tires a lot since I have a set for the street and a set for the track. What I need to do is buy the stupid tool for $30 so I can reprogram them at home. I hate going to the dealership.

That's exactly what you need to do.
I have a set of 20's with TPMS sensors installed and it's just easy to reporgram them yourself without the hassle at the dealer. You can buy the Ford tool on ebay for around $30 and AM has an aftermarket one too.

I hate going to the dealership also. I caught one of the tech's doing a stress test on my way to pick up the car.I told him that it really hooked up nice and gave him a thumbs up,even got his picture. I had words with the service manager and showed him the pics and got the SMF'r fired.
