Heads come assembled...cams come seperately.

I do have ported head/cam packages. I also now have a Trick Flow/CMS Power Pack..where you get the new TF heads,TF Intake and any CMS cam. I think with the TF Pack people could see 330-350rwhp fairly easily. Here is a link to the head/cam packages:

My brother has an 02 GT with Headers ,full 3inch exhaust, CAI, bigger throttle body (not sure how big previous owner put it on). He is looking for a head and cam package to get and I like the ones on your website. My question is could the stage 2 package put him at 350rwhp? Or would it be better off going with the trick flow pack? Also what cam grind would you recommend to go with for it? He is 5spd and it being loopy would not bother him. Also the trick flow says its a pre release sale how long after ordered would we get them then?

No...to get that kinda power you would need the TF/CMS Power pack. The regular CNC ported Stage 2 heads and stage 2 cams with all the bolt-ons will get you 310-320rwhp. The Power Pack with Stage 2.5 or 3 N/A cams will get close to your goal. It would help if it wasn't a stock bottom end so you could build some compression and spin it higher RPMS. Trick Flow is hoping to have the heads shipping at the end of May. Right now I am taking pre-orders to get sets reserved..because they will be hard to come by once released if you don't have a set reserved. Let me know! Thanks!

well look. without the heads, the cams wont do you much good. they are really going to just change your power range, the stage 2's will probably dog down your acceleration, give you good mid range power and then you're back to regular old top end. with cams only, you can take my word or just dyno it and see, but without heads i expect you to gain maybe 5hp to the wheels with just the cam. and if you go the correct way, imo, and put the heads on first, installation of cams will be cheaper than installation of heads... then again this is just my opinion on this, do the research, ask knowledge ppl who have gone as fast as you want to go and learn the steps it takes to get there. good luck on the build.

Um...way to resurrect an old thread and be COMPLETELY WRONG!!! GO YOU!!! Even stage 1 cams give you like 20rwhp or more. They move the RPM band up and allow more air into the heads. Go do some research. Cus you have no idea what youre talking about.

Wow! Cams are going to give him more than 5rwhp and are a much better mod than I guess you think. They will give you good mid range and top end and with a steeper gear, you will have good low end.

And how would the cam install be cheaper if you had heads on first and do the cams later?

OP, check out the new sticky in the 4.6 section about degreeing cams. They have a great write up on how to install and how to degree the cams. This will give you guys a good idea whether or not you can tackle this yourself.
