Think about it like this;
The new 2010 GT500's are probably marked up so high you'll overpay a ton anyways if you buy now.
Next year if the 2011 model has no changes AT LEAST you'll save a ton on the 2010 (maybe even find a used one with low miles on it).

GerRod.. you know what i think is hilarious? even though chevy/dodge is doing all those deals (especially dodge) Ford is kicking *** on sales compared to other companies.. blue oval.. i only liked you for your mustang.. but i may become a ford guy yet

If I had the money (but I don't) I would opt for the 2010. Over time, I think that it will have a greater collector value than the 2011, because of the new body style in 2010. It is impossible to enjoy the full capability of the ShelbyGT500 or the Shelby GT500KR on open road ways, on the track either one of these vehicles is something that takes some training and disipline to get the most out of. I do not know what the weight difference will be, but I think 100 lbs is a lot to hope for.
