Default REPLACING SERPENTINE BELT

DOES ANYONE HAVE A STEP BY STEP FOR THE SERPENTINE BELT? MY CAR JUST LOST POWER STEERING AND BRAKES SO IM GONNA TRY REPLACING THIS AND IF IT DOESNT WORK MAYBE THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY

Do you have a stock hood? If so, check it for a diagram - I have a 97 Cobra, with a stock hood, and it has a diagram on how to route the belt.

use a 3/8" drive ratchet in #7 (tensioner) to get tension off the belt so you can get it off. After the new belt is routed on almost all of the pullies use the tensioner again get it over a remaining pulley.

Just make sure it is seated correctly on all the pulleys before firing it back up.

it was a very easy job, but then my compressor clutch locked up and the shop wanted to charge me a left nut to fix it and i fixed it myself but they charged me 67 bucks for another belt after they cut the one i put in...douches

Doesn't make much sense why they would cut your new belt, unless they weren't able to move the tensioner.
Quite douchey.

thats what i said, but they probably figured i was gonna go ahead and dish out 1100 bucks and give them the go ahead to do the work. i wanted to ask them how a belt from napa cost 65 bucks when it cost 26 from
