Find another dealer. This guy has a major chip and should be avoided at all cost.

what about the drop in K&N filter? it says it doesnt void the warranty but has anyone had problems with the drop in.

The K+N will do nothing for you, if anything it will only hurt! Stick with a quality paper filter.

How will a K&N filter hurt anything?

Check out this thread comparing filters. The K&N oil/gauze type filters let in a lot more dirt and the oil used in them can mess up sensitive electronics like the MAF sensors on our cars. Filters like K&N don't offer that much more flow over stock at the expense of letting much more dirt through to your engine.

I seen that posted over and over again.
I have always used K&N filters on everything I have from quads to cars/trucks and never had any problems with them.
I have also seen a few tested on the dyno and never seen one not show any gains over the stock paper filters.

The oil will only mess up sensors if their is excessive oil on the filter.
