Vortec VS Saleen
if you're racing somebody you're going "very fast" anyway. if your not racing somebody who cares how your car runs? 300whp is plenty with the right gearing.
that is good news, didn't knew that,
yes i want to beat those eurpean cars!!! please helpme where i can but those things..
i have bought already an large amount of money for my car ,bilstein kit boykit etc
but where can i but buy those cams and you talk about drivetrain you mean gears...is that not bad for an automatic...

It depends on your driving style. How are the roads there? Smooth, slick etc? Where do you plan to "race" folks and what's the maximum speed limit? It sounds cold, ice etc. You will embarass everyone in the slick stuff/ice with your current setup from 0-60mph and the right suspension/tire/rearend setup.
I hear Netherlands and think cold, slick, ice lol.
And don't order a supercharger "tomorrow". Lots to learn first.

The TR6060 will provide a .63-50 sixth gear for high speed runs with a lower rear gearing and the higher rpm boosting centrifugal s/c.
C'mon guys help me out here! lol

haha not always gold ,small streets and i am not a much of a racer but when i must push car i will need the power so exactly i was planning to buy tomorrow the vortec high output.....but everybody say buy saleen...
I know what you're trying to explain and a higher rpm setup with centrifugal supercharger will suit you nicely. The Vortech HO is VERY nice. Then add blower cams with aftermarket springs/retainers so you have 7k rpm ability and you're out breathing most on the street. This is important. The 3V heads will flow nearly what 4V heads flow and your valvetrain (springs/retainers) along with appropriate camshafts become the limiting factor to the 7k+ rpm powerband.
After having FRPP hotrod cams in my car for 2 years, I'd rather out-breath/rpm the others than have more hp/tq. that's what matters in a race. these cars are rolling bricks and the high rpm hp is what wins races.
