O2 sensors
I am thinking of getting an O/R H pipe for my 06 gt (completely stock). I know that the o2 sensors will throw a code when I do this mod, so my question is, is there a way to turn off the sensors without a tuner? I do plan on buying a tuner, I just cant buy one right now.

This is your best bet. With these cars, you can't do much of anything without needing to adjust the tune. Plus, the CAI/tuner combo is a great first mod. Gets the car like it should have been from the factory - throttle response, performance, etc.

Just having the tuner won't help. You need a tune written to turn them off. Just tell Bama or Brenspeed or whoever you buy from what your mods are. Custom tunes are written specifically for your PCM and the mods you have. Bama will be your better choice mainly because of their "free tunes for life" policy.

What car did you come from where this was considered acceptable? Any fuel injected car with cats would benefit from a custom tune when removing the cats. I wouldn't consider removing the cats without a tune.

^^^ this and what is with people throwing off road x/h pipes on these cars with no custom tune?

Having said that, whats the deal with the "free tunes for life" from Bama? Are you automatically enrolled in that fro free when you buy the tuner, or do you have to pay to enroll for the free tunes?
Sorry for the dumb questions, but this is my first Mustang and obviously i havent done any performance mods yet.
