Nitrous Help (plate kit)
I recently bought a NOS sniper kit from a guy an and bought a plate for my carb setup. This is my first time dealing with nitrous so I have a few questions an some might be stupid but oh well
1) when the nitrous system is activated..nitrous an fuel flow through each solenoid..fuel solenoid and nitrous solenoid..but does fuel still get pumped in throw the squirters in the carb bowl? Or does the plate replace the function of the carb? Cuz I would like to make some passes on an off the bottle...so if ne one can give me some knowledge it's def appreciated

This is question is at the very heart of understanding how nitrous works. It is good question but is very basic so let me strongly recommend you continue researching and educating yourself about nitrous. There is a sticky at the top of this section you should have read and google of course will return many pages on the topic.
Now, the nitrous system is added on to your engine as a power adder it does not replace anything. Simply put nitrous is an oxidizer NOT a fuel (i.e. it isn't nitro-methane). It allows you to add & burn additional air/fuel in your engine on top of the base charge. You must add the correct amount of additional fuel (the system is calibrated for it, must have all working right including bottle pressure) or engine damage will ensue quickly.

Ive done lot of research on it..and semi familiar how it works..I was just thrown off cuz I have a nitrous solenoid shots nitrous into the bar on the plate..and a fuel solenoid that shots fuel into the bar on the plate..( like I said this question might b dumb) but Ima gonna check the sticky out

I would split the main feed into two separate regulated feeds - 1 to feed the carb and 1 for the nitrous. That way you can tune the two pressures independently. You'll need to ensure your fuel pump and main line is up to flowing the amount of fuel volume your going to be demanding of it. I would be sure to add a FPSS (fuel pressure safety switch) for a carb system in the nitrous feed line as well.

Ok so let me make sure I got it..so take the main line an put a y block on it..then have a line from the y block going to the carb..the have another line ( with a regulator) goin to fuel solenoid ? That sounds like it should right..lol

Yes, yes, yes and not an efficient set up. A quick google search turned up a good MM&FF article on carb system install.
