For those of you who installed component speakers in your ‘05-‘07, where did you mount the tweeters? On my ‘97 I installed them in the plastic panels in front of the windows. It worked out well, because when I went to sell the car getting replacements for those panels was cheap. I want to install components (I have the Kappa Perfect 6.1's from my ‘97 that are only a few years old) in my ‘07, but on the driver's side, the plastic panel forward of the window has the switch to adjust the side view mirrors. I want to raise the sound stage, but I don't want to hack up a panel that is expensive to replace later. What did you do? Photos would be a big help.

I just mounted them in the same spot they were before.
