Default Is the Stock Radio Powerful Enough?

I have two 12" kenwood subs with a 400 watt kenwood amp hooked up in my '89 chevy s10 blazer with a pioneer radio, and they sound great. But I'm wanting them in my '07 v6 stang with a stock radio (not shaker 500 or 1k). I know that it needs a splitter to even hook up the subs so what I am wondering is if this radio has enough juice to power the subs up to their full potential? Thanks.

the radio has nothing to do with the power of the subs if you have the correct amp inbetween them........
