Default Sony head unit problem No CD Player

Ok I have a Sony Xplod Drive 5 52WX4 that Ive had for about 2 1/2 years now. Last night when I tried to take a CD out the CD came about 1/4 the way out, I could hear the gears (I guess thats what there called) trying to push the CD out but wouldnt come out. So I manually pulled the CD out, tried putting in back in and the gears wouldnt even come on to pull it in. So I tried to restart the system by turning if off, and then turning it on with no luck. When I put in on the CD function the screen flashes "CD Reset" and nothing else. Please help....

Thanks,
Matthew

sounds like the transport mechanism took a crap but you can try either pushing the reset button(if avialable) or disconnecting power for short time.
