thats probably gonna sound like crap unless you got really weak speakers. i would hook up one or two but not four thats just dumb your not getting any more power by adding more subs

There is no logical reason why four woofers would "sound like crap" compared to fewer woofers.

As long as you're giving each woofer its recommended box volume, four woofers will be 3dB louder than two woofers with the same total power (four are more efficient than two). They can also handle twice the power, which would net you another 3dB.

If you're willing to give up the space, four beats two every time.

i dont mean it will sound like crap. i mean if you have 4 higher powered rms rated subs and hook it up to the one amp your most likely not going to get the recomended power to each of those speakers which can either cause it to blow the speaker or not sound good. as long as the subs are getting at least the minimum power needed then it will be fine.
