iPhone / iPod Car Mount?
I am planning on purchasing a 2011 GT within the next 5 months and I have a question for any 2010-2011 Mustang owners. What iPod / iPhone mount do you suggest or use? Vent mounted or window mounted? Brand? Thanks!

Then just run the cable to the center console or the glove-box. Mounts so you can see the iphone itself, afraid I got nothin´.

As no one has responded yet. My $0.50 would be to get one of these. So you can interface directly with the radio, so long as it has satellite or is satellite capable this will work.

For now, I just want to use an auxiliary cable and have my iPod on a arm/holder from the air vent or windshield.

Im looking for a cord to plug into my aux in the console and then into my IPOD that will allow me to use the radio to control my music. Has anyone seen anything like that? I dont want to leave my IPOD out for view with a vent or cord hook-up.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I´d just check/call crutchfield and mention the above and what you want. They can verify if this is compatible or not I´m sure.

Then you should be good with the one I listed. I don't think Crutchfield sells 'em though for some reason. I only see the PXAMG (PAC iSimple), which had some serious issues when first released. Also will require a separate controller interface purchase to be controllable from the stock head-unit. Make sure you get these points across to the crutchfield sales guy/girl. Getting it without that separately sold cable means no head-unit control outside of just playing the audio and charging the ipod.
I would still be inclined to purchase this instead from Crutchfield if they don't offer the other model. As if it doesn't work right you can just ship it back to them and get a refund without much hassle. And if it's a bit "wonky" when you first install it, flash the sucker to the latest firmware revision first.
For truly integrated solutions that are controllable from the stock head-units those are the only 2 options I'm aware of currently.
