I put amsoil in mine. Got it from Hypermotive! It did improve shifting some and quieted it down some. Another thing that you might want to check is the brake master to make sure it's full because that is also the clutch master.

Just a thought, but when at a stoplight, try putting the car in 2nd gear first, then up to first.. see if that helps any.

It has only happened twice, the first time it was hard to get in second also. I sat there so long trying to get it in gear the light turned red. It was very cold that day too. What made me mad was all of a sudden in just falls in gear without any effort. Second time I was ready for it and put it third made it roll forward a little and then it went into gear.

I doubt it's the transmission, possibly the clutch/throw out bearing/slave cylinder if it's a mechanical issue and not just fluid.

I agree with jeff. Clutch not disengaging all the way. The way they test for bad sunchros is try to put the car in gear with pushing clutch in. Good synchro will not let it in gear and rpm will dip slightly. Bad synchro=grind. Try the synchro test and see if it does exactly what it did to you before. Not go into gear.
