Columbia, Charleston, and myrtle beach got hit pretty bad. I'm in rock hill and we hardly got any rain at all.

WOW just caught the edge of the state. I hope the old homes in Charleston made it through.

A week plus of rain for us, but nothing bad at all. Just aggravating that it ruined two weekends.

I don't mind the rain but hate hurricanes, I worked in Greensboro when Hugo hit. Rather deal with a bad storm than a tornado.

Lots of road closings and business shutdowns. Lot of factories along the rivers got employees stuck at work. Saluda river coming out of the lake came within 2 feet of the bottom of i20 bridge.

Really the storm wasn't bad at all its just that it never stopped and hit a huge area. Columbia regularly has flooding problems on a few select streets. I'm calling BS on whatever the rain fall measuring device is that columbia uses. The said 7.7 inches in 24 hours from Saturday to sunday. My wash bucket says otherwise, closer to 10.
