I am selling my partially restored 1968 Coupe. It is located in Marion IA (near Cedar Rapids). I don't know why my location doesn;t show up in the member name area... I have it filled in. Anyway...
Pics, price, and other info can be found here...

Can anyone help me out here? Is my asking price totally whacked? I'm guessing based on some conversations I had about a year ago, but the people I asked were going only by my description, not actually having seen pictures or the car itself. I also understand that the state of the economy may have since affected prices for unfinished cars, also.
If anyone can help with a realistic asking price, that alone would be a tremendous help. Thanks.

RE: FS: partially restored 1968 Mustang Coupe
Hey Leo... looks like some solid work done to the car... your price isn't terribly unreasonable, but now, like you, not everyone has the money for a project... trust me. I have the fiancee breathing down my neck to build her a car... and IM ON UNEMPLOYMENT!
I'd say come down to $4900. 4gs sounds better than 5, and if you're motivated to sell the car, that might make it happen. inlne sixes just can't bring the big bucks, you know?
Best of luck... looks like an EXCELLENT starting pont for someone.
Admittedly, money and time is a factor. I don't really like doing this, but I'm lowering the asking price to $2900, or best offer. Basically, I need to move it, and soon.
As far as the title, I have thetitle from Indiana that is signed off by the previous owner, but it is long since expired. The buyer's section has not been filled in, so that is open to whoever buys it from me. Hopefully, that should make it easier to register. Unfortunately, I cannot findthe bill of sale that I got from the seller, but I will be happy to provide a bill of sale from me to the new buyer, if desired.

At the risk of appearing desparate... impatient would be a better descriptor... I have listed it on eBay, also, with a starting price of $995. No reserve. It's a gamble, I know.
