I need book recommendations for helping learn how to properly restore my 67 mustang
I have 67 mustang coupe and need book recommendations to learn how to properly restore it to driving condition while at the same time adding new technology to it (brakes, suspension, stereo, etc). So something that teaches you about restoration but also something that teaches you about car repair (rebuilding engines, modifying mustang gas tank/steering wheel, etc) Thanks

I recommend the shop manual. I got mine on CD so I can print whatever pages I need instead of taking the whole book out to the garage.
I also just purchased this book http://www.amazon.com/Mustang-Restor...6907472&sr=8-2 It looks to be helpful in some areas and has a little better pictures than the shop manual.

I've found the "body assembly manual" and the "electrical assembly manual" to be extremely useful.
The general shop manual is useful for something but leaves out lots of detail in other areas....I picked up the actual book on e-bay for about $20.
I can tell you for certain to not waste your money on the Chilton or Hayes manual. I was given the Hayes manual by the guy that sold me my car and made the mistake of wasting money on the Chilton.
