That looks cool seeing it out in the driveway. Is it running now?

I agree, the looks probably are going to start to change fast. I hope they don't change too much. I think it would look great just cleaned up and maybe some OE type styled steel wheels or similar instead of the hubcaps.

I have a 53 ****** jeep and became very familiar with POR15, the trunk will probably receive some of as well as some of the under body. Very quality stuff!

The pictures are something I either wasn't able or haven't done on previous projects and I have kicked myself for it. It's not running yet, drive train is coming out either today or Tuesday. Only took about 5 people to load it on the trailer

Looks won't be crazy, just wheels and maybe a slight drop are all that I have in mind. I would really love some torq thrusts as cliche as they are. The polished 5 spoke on a red vert would look fantastic I think. Paint will come over the winter, and it will ne the same color.

Nice starting point, love your vert. My next build will be a convertible. What color is it going to be, and the rim choice will follow...

Very nice set up yourself, your drivetrain is what I plan for mine to be, minus a few cubes and the F/I!

The car will be the same "Candy Apple Red" which is why I think a polished wheel will look good on it.

I love the Magnum 500's. The torque thrust, keystone klassic, and cragar ss are all great choices too.

Good question LCC, I was assuming it was going to be painted red, but I guess he could be going with a different color.

Good color. There are a couple beautiful candy apple red cars on here that you can compare rim choices. I agree with you, that color likes shiny rims. But if you black out the trim then flat color rims will work, HUMMM..

Your "style" will guide you to the rim choice. And we'll slap you if it's the wrong one...

Thanks guys! I've seen a lot of the "classic" wheel choices and considering that I'm not doing any real body mods, I would like to find something a little bit different. Decisions decisions... I have about 2 weeks before I need to get something on order.

And a much over due update. Had some set backs but the motor finally has a home! Waiting on the transmission before the fuel system can be finished and then she should run.
