First time on a road course! Awesome!
My car club and a couple nearby ones got a chance to take some laps at the new (still under construction actually) Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA. It is a great track and when it is all done, will be the premier track in the Pacific Northwest. When we first got there, we got to see a new Boss 302S beating the pants off of Porches, Corvettes, you name it...
Then we got to take a few laps. Wow! I had such an awesome time! I was only in 2nd and 3rd most of the time as we weren't supposed to get too squirrely since we were not racing. I gotta say, I am hooked! Can't wait to get everyone together for an actual track day so I can REALLY open it up! My '66 held its own pretty well today though, hanging with Shelby GT500s, new Boss 302s, tons of stock GTs and even some V6s of various years.

+1 for adding some pics
..and what kind of suspension do you have? I'm itching to take mine to the track.
I live in Hawaii where there is a nice stretch of highway that cuts through the mountains here, I love to open it up and buzz around the corners.

Here is a youtube link from on the course... Disclaimer: My daughter filmed so I apologize for anyone that gets queezy. http://youtu.be/8xCDTxcu_0k
I am running the Grab a track kit from Mustangs Plus, lowered 1 inch in front and 1 1/2 in the rear. It handles pretty well for a stock style suspension, but I do plan to upgrade to Mustang II someday. Also, we were not going very fast, so It may not have handled so well at higher speeds.
WHEN my club actually gets a REAL day at the track, I'll post the results.

Speaking of grease....it was raining when I hit the H3 tunnel and when I got inside the tunnel, I gave it a shot of gas, and I guess all the oil in the tunnel (that doesn't get washed away by rain) was there and I ended up fish-tailing a little bit and started to go side-ways at like 70mph....I let off on the gas and just nudged the wheel a tiny bit and picked up traction again...omg...that was a close call.
Yea, and the video was deleted because it was too long?
