Default Brakes on a 67

Hey everyone, I'm just trying to put some new shoes on a 67 where it has drum brakes on the front. The problem is I can't get the hubs off, I've turned the spindle to bring the shoes in but it still won't budge, is there something else to do to get them off? Thanks.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but the drum and hub come off as one piece. you have to take off the wheel bearing.

ya quig is right. i actually did the same thing and i beat the hell out of my drums on the front for a long time until someone told me i had to take off the wheel bearings. if u take of the cap theres a pin holding on a big nut just unscrew the nut and it will come off. however make sure u don't loose any wheel bearings and when u go to put them back on look at a diagram if u don't remember how to put the bearings back in and also, one thing, repack the wheel bearings with grease.
