Default headers for a 69

okay im thinking about converting to a t-5 thing is....i want to use long headers for my ride. but i know the clutch fork would kinda block the long tubes and prolly the transmission since its a little bigger than the earlier transmissions. what type of headers would fit in my application?? couldnt tri-y's fit? cuz some shelbys did come manual.

I have a toploader 4 speed, I don't know how much size difference there is but, the first headers I had were flowtecs thay suck. Now I have Tri Y s as for the clutch they are a lot better fit, but the starter is all but touching the header if you use them I sugest getting the mini starter. I plan on changing to that after I rebuild the engine.

oh okay so tri-y's and ministarter would work. cuz im building a 302 with 400hp and 380lbs of torque and im deciding wether to go with a t-5 or get a c4 from perfomance automatic. but then again i want to control power so the t5 should be a good setup my my 69 and engie application.

as for the tri-y's did u have to get the powersteerting lowering get?? cuz i got power steering in mine.

You will have to drop the power steering. There is a bracket you can buy. I had to do this in mine.
