I am doing some research on my dataplates, breaking them down, but I know that my 67 mustang has been pieced together from spare parts......

I know that there 2 main vin dataplates on 67's, one on the end of the drivers door, & one under the hood. But my problem is where under the hood?

Any help would be great!

There may be a buck tag attached to your core support, mine is on the passenger side, it shows the vin and some other numbers but isnt really a data plate. The serial number should also be found on the inner portion of the left fender rail. There also should be a vin plate somewhere along your dashboard near the base of the windshield. Agreed. The dash plates near the windshield started I believe in the 69-70 model year, though.

Not under the dash, on top of the dash near the base of the windshield. My '68 has it on the passenger side, '67 was on drivers side if I am not mistaken.

Sorry, my mistake.....still pretty excited about this coming weekend.....that is when I am picking up 2 '67 Stangs for a pretty great price.
