Default EFI 5.0 In A '67

One Of My Friends Has A EFI 5.0 Out Of A '90 GT. He Wants To Replace The 289 In His '67 With It. I Was Wondering If It Will Drop Right In Or If He Needs To Purchase Some Kind Of Adapter Motor Mounts Or Something Like That. Also I Was Wondering How A Borg-Warner T-5 Would Work With The Existing Transmission Crossmember. If Anyone Has Done This, Any Helpful Information Would Be Greatly Appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

The 302 will have no problem bolting right into the mounts. Both engines share the same basic block, so there shouldn't be any clearence problems side-side. However, there is no way to bolt a T-5 into the car without an aftermarket mount. You can get these at most classic mustang parts vendors, or at places like www.moderndriveline.com They normally go for about $170.
