size for a front sway bar on a '65 289?...

I doubt you would be able to feel any difference between the two, but you know the saying...the bigger the better...

well from what i have heard is that the sway bars need to be used in conjunction with different springs i would do more research so you don't screw yourself and the quality of your ride

I have a 1 1/8 on mine, it was an snap to put on mounted to the stock locations with new hardware. Car drives real nice. I also put the 620 springs on at the same time. I can't really compare to what it was before since it was a I6 before with the V8 in it and worn out steering.
