RE: whats the first step
nows a perfect time for the granada swap....i did it and love it, however if you want a set of 5 lug drums, you can have mine. pick em up in harrisburg PA or pay to ship em. they are yours. as far as stripping the old off and getting started....plan on ball joints, bushings, shocks and springs as well. also im pretty sure the idler arm and attached stuff is different on the 4 lug also. dont go cheap on brakes...tooo many people build sick motors but wont get half decent brakes

RE: whats the first step
depends on if your gonna stay drums or go for 4 wheel disc id leave it the way it is unless you go to a 5 lug with 4 wheel disc heres some kits you might wanna look at http://www.mustang-unl.com/SubCat.as...yWords=MU%5FWB and http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchant...egory_Code=brk

RE: whats the first step
As for a starting point for the removeal, When I did mine I pulled the pitman arm from the steering box. Then the idler arm from the frame and the lower control arm from its mont. After that unbolt the upper ball joint and let it all fall to the ground. All of those points with the exception of the ball joints has to be changed on the 65 66 to put on 5 lug. I did the SSBC disc convertion at the same time it was an easy swap. I got them from Va mustang for $825.00 thats with the duel master cylinder.
