Hey now...lets not go dissin the guys that rebuild old airplanes!!!! I'm one of them. I rebuilt a 1947 Beechcraft Bonanza from the ground up and have been flying it around Texas for over 6 years now. It took the wife and I over 9 years to rebuild it completely. Engine rebuild....new flaps and ailerons, new skins on the bottom, landing gear overhauls. New paint and interior. This is why I dont have a problem with rebuilding my sons '65 Stang, if you can rebuild an airplane.....you can restore a Stang.
