Default 1968 SUSPENSION

Are there any easy fixes to improve the "shaking" or handling at 50 to 70 mph on a 68 mustang fastback?....other than wheel alignments or complete new suspension?

you could get your wheels balanced, that is the only thing i can think of that would make the car shake

Agree, the first thing I would check is the wheel balance. A bent rim could also cause it. This is unlikely with steel wheels unless you really hit a curb hard; much more likely with alloy rims.

bad bushings in your leafs or a drum that is out of balance could be something to look into also
