can i get that kitty hair fiberglass stuff from a local car paint shop? id like to get it today so i just want to go get it at a shop and not order it....

im trying to add material to my fiberglass trunk lid and quarter extentions....


is even the right stuff to use???

the kitty hair(short strand will be okay to use or tiger hair(long strand) a local shop will probably ahve it in stock

told you making parts fit great is fun remember baby powder or long sleeve shirt if your sanding

kinda late now....i will probably just order it from goferauto.com...seems to be the best price and what not.....

i highly doubt any of the automotive places will be open tomorrow....these places are ridiculous....open at like 9 close at 12 or 1....not open Mondays....etc....just shady operations all around....u can tell when they have VW bugs on top of roofs and stuff they probably have some weird sh*t going on.....


does anyone have any pictures or write up on using kitty hair???

I usually call it gorilla hair. lol. But you can get it from Advance auto, auto zone, any auto parts store should carry it, and the ones down here in GA dont have wierd hours like that.............

i think its just my town....theres tons of body shops and mechincal places that are normal but the paint and supplies shop i think is like a mom and pop thing so its not as official i guess? oh well.....i will just go to kragen then if u think they will have it?

it mixes just like regular filler just need to rough up the surface with 36 grit for good adhesion to the glass parts
