Its a 67 or 68 mustang shelby GT500. It had a 428 super cobra jet motor, top loader 4 speed (not sure on that), and had a 4.10 rear gear.

in the original movie this was a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1, but in the remake it was replaced by a more exotic 1967 Shelby Mustang GT-500.

Not quite....its a movie car, nothing more. Its current incarnation 'resembles' a Shelby GT500 before that it was a big body stang

yes i agree dodge, your response is the most accurate, deff a movie car, you'd be nuts to do that to a real 500, kind of like that shakira video when they crush that clone, none the less that did not deserve the crusher either, I hope it was just a model or something!

I was in Mustang's etc in Van Nuys CA looking at some photos of Elanore (they did work on one of them). Appraently 11 of these were made for the movie. Very cool
