What amases me is I have kids looking at the stang who are 2-4 year old and they know it's a mustang, I mean they aren't common in the Netherlands it just shows what a design classic they are.

I was workin in the old one car garage I had in the mid 90s when one of the kids from the other end of my block comes up on his bike. His brother was along, and the first thing he asked me was "Are you a race car driver?" Well I hadnt really thought of it before, but since I have a drag car and I drive it, I told him "yeah, sometimes".. He would always come by and hang out after that, later his parents came down and we became friends.

When driving the GTO I can always tell the gear head kids from the other kids, because the gear head kids will always turn, look, point, and watch me roll by in it.. Its loud and has that idle that people like to hear, so it gets attention even if it isnt purdy...

It's stories like these that make all of those seemingly endless knuckle-busting knights under the hood worthwhile. I just love turning heads with the Stang.

probably the most recognizable car in the world maybe the original beetle would win but the stang is an all around people car none of that mini car stuff
