RE: 65 Mustang Driver's seat still too close...?
Thanks big guys! And the quote was from Chevy Chase in Fletch! I really want to keep the look of my expensive wood grain 15 inch wheel, so I might try to move my seat back by drilling in the track, and not the bottom of the car... Happy New Year!

i welded an extra section of track to the tracks to allow seat to slide back @4 inches and still slide forward for my wife (it's her stang). also went with 13 wood wheel. there a boat load of room for my big self now......

I'm 6'4", 260lbs. While I was replacing my floor pans I moved the driver seat riser back 2". I was going to modify the seat tracks but thought it would be safer to move the riser instead.
I haven't put the carpet in yet so I'm not sure how it's going to fit.
