Default sroke existing - or new crate

My buddy has a brand new 302 motor but like the way mine performs much more. i have a 347 stroker. would it be better for him to buy the new crate motor or have someone stroke out his existing motor and what would something like that run for parts and labor?

There are several crate motor companies that seel Fords 347 in verious HP. Look at Ford Racing crate motors and figure a little less than that for someone else. Ford gives you a warrenty though.
The 2007 ford crate motors
302 w345 hp M6007-7XB3M $4300.00
302 w 360hp M607-Z50E $6250.00
347 w 415hp M6007-D347SR $7395.00
and a new one
a 342 cubic inch says HP to be determind 6007-X342 $5500.00
