If its a cleveland are those 4v or 2v heads? Something you may want to consider. If your not racing it or high HP you will get better flow out of 2v heads. Not enough back pressure or venturieffectfor 4v heads on a street engine, or so I've been told. Good luck.

the 4v heads are amazing heads for ay use, they are better when your racing but on the street, either head will work

i have a good website for you if you want cleveland stuff, its www.parkerracing.com.au they sell a really cool kit for about 100 bucks that will make the 4v intake ports smaller and have better airflow characteristics

if you want pm me and i can tell you alot more about it, i can even give you ACTUAL before and after cfm numbers for the ported heads with this kit, i know an engine builder who is doing that and testing them this weekend

well im thinkin that the kit i have up there is a good deal, everything is new and it would be a nice way to hit 11's wit my notch. I have considered the 2v or 4v heads and the ones im tryin to get are the 4v closed chamber heads, they flow slightly better and make more power. i am than planning on a pretty big cam, something up around .600 lift, with the stock roller rockers, which i have been told will hold it. so if i can get all this new for only 1100 than that shouldnt be bad.
thanks for all the help.
anyone else?
