Default 1968 Mustang media blasting preparations

I feel that I need to have my 1968 Mustang coupe media blasted (or some variation of this process) to remove old layers of paint, rust, etc. As most real people, I am working on a small budget and would like to save as much money on this process as possible. Would it be recommended for me to tear down my Mustang to a rolling body (i.e., everything off but the tires/suspension)? Also, what should I expect from this media blasting process in terms of cost (considering my teardown), time, etc? Thanks for the help!

In 2004, I paid $1150 to have the rolling chassis, underbody sand blasted, new passengers side floor pan, sub-frame connectors & Dual torque boxed welded in. Then under coaed with POR-15
YMMV

Thanks for the response! What about a full media blasting of the body, not just the underbody?
