gear vendors?

RE: gear vendors?
He is talking about Gear Vendors planetary overdrive.
It is like a gear splitter on a Truck... sorta.
They are neat, but I don't think I would go for one unless I had spent a lot of money on a non OD transmission. For the $2500 you would spend on it + what you would pay to have your driveshaft shortened you could swap in an AOD or T5 whatever your flavor.
Here is one slapped on a C6

RE: gear vendors?
Are you planing to use Gear vendors in automatic or manual trans? If you have manual trans have you considered Keisler kit?

Gear vendors will work fine, at least some of my friends use that and they like it. You get from your 3 - speed automatic with Gear vendors 6 -speed automatic and from 4 - speed manual you get 8 - speed manual.

RE: gear vendors?
id just use a t5 tranny or a aod both have a overdrive gear and can bolt right in a early mustang.that gear vendors unit is pricey and you gotta fab up a tranny cross member maybe beat on the floor pan for room also have a driveshaft made.
