I'm assuming from discbrakeswap.com that these are good for the front end swap? It's their kit for $545 http://www.discbrakeswap.com/swap_2_3_cropped.jpg
thats the kit i bought...if you tell them you are a member of the forum you get a discount on that kit.

its an awesome setup and a good price, plus they have AWESOME customer service and always answer your questions in a timely manner. i highly recommend them.

Connor, seeing you like that kit, my one questions remains unanswered. Does that kit work for both the inline 6 and the V8 engines or should I wait until I do the engine swap? Reason being, I've seen kits say they're for a V8 model or other, and didn't want to buy a kit that I can't use yet.

The SWAP.2kitcan be installed onall 65-73 Mustangs. The difference between the 6 and 8 cylinder kitapplies only to 65-66 applications. The outer tie rods are diifferent. The kits for67-73 6 and 8 cylinder cars are identical. For 65-66 applications the deciding factor in kitting is the type of steering gear installed (6 or 8 cylinder), not the engine type. Many usersswap8 cylinderengines into65-66 6 cylinder carswithout changing the steering gear.

Driving with 4 drums is not really dangerous at all. Drums do not stop as well as disc, but you can easily drive with drums. Someone earlier mentioned driving smart, the main part of driving smart these days is anticipating what every other moron on the road is going to do. Modern cars are wonderful, but they have allowed idiots who really cant drive, fool themselves into thinking they are better drivers than they really are.
