Soaring is right...It is only as valuable as someone makes it. A lot of people will pay way over sticker price for a new car just to have it first, the new GT from Ford for example. I have a 67 coupe which probably isn't worth more than $2000 as it sits, but I wouldn't take almost any price for it. It was my first car so sentimental value is greater than monetary value. (Lots of memories). Another factor to consider is if it is a financial burden for example. Mine can sit in the garage and cost me nothing for the next 20 years if it has to. Hopefully not

This guy I know is selling his '67 289 for like 16k, the body looks fine but the engine is ****. After you bought it you'd have to work on the Carb and prolly the tranny too, looks are deceiving.
