Lol, no wonder you have get up and go at low rpm's, you have 4.11's and a stroker:P

With the massive ports on 4V heads (which would be ideal if he wants to build a high-revving cleve), I can't see it making much power until it hits the power band...unless he has 4.11's to get it rolling

It also has 410cubes to use all 230something cc's of the 4V port, which helps. I woulda thought you'd be making more power than that though. What have you changed since the last time it was dyno'd?

Changed stall from 3k to 3500
Rebuilt trans
Broke rear and put in a new 9 inch 31 spline detroit locker chunk and axles.
I added the scoop hood so I can run a much larger air filter element as well

I am making alot of power and I was convinced that I was loosing alot of it in the drivetrain so I cleaned that area up a bit.
I am also not getting enough fuel, I have a completely flat HP curve starting at 5700 or so RPM..the curve goes up like a mountain and then just hits a wall. The 5/16 line just isn't delivering enough fuel to the carb. After I put in the 3/8 line I expect the power to jump up a bit. Ever version of the motor has peaked right at 330 with the same problem. The only time it didn't was when I used a special race prepped carb and it put out 392/355. Once I fix the fuel supply issue I expect to be making alot more power.
