65 auto to stick swap

we want to swap a 65 auto to a stick is there a easy way or somewere we can read up on parts and ***. ,, on what year to use and things like this ????

ok here what i got so far ,,, i can get a t5 for about $500 and need all the extras to go with it i found a guy that has a complete setup from a 65 stick complete with everything needed but its a 4 speed now what to do ????? the t5 would be better but the 4 speed would be the eastest ,,, the complete setup was $1000( too high) ???? what do yuo guys think ????
