Default Headers

Hey everyone.

I have a 1966 Coupe that has a 1984 302 in it. What type of headers can I use that will have good clearance for everything in the car. The car is an automatic.

Thanks everyone.

Welcome Trev...

Choosing headers depends on what you've got and what you're trying to do with the car. Generally speaking, long tube headers are good for better performance but get in the way and hang down low. Shorties are better than stock manifolds and offer greater flexibility.

Check out the Heddman Shorties for 65-70 mustangs with 289-302s. Summitt sells them

I like the long tube Heddmans a lot. They fit great, sound good, but they do hang low.

well i use headman long tubes also.... they do very well for me and unless your off roading or going over speed bumps at 50 mph you should be fine... at least in my opinion the headmans give you the best bang for your buck.

My Headman's work fine. You can give my buddy Vic Wood a call over there and tell him Chris from B&M referred you. he will get you dialed in on the best place to get them from at the best price.
