Default 67 front blinkers

I have no clue what happend. I have had zero problems with my lights untill yesterday. All my lights turn on except the front marker lights (blinkers) My blinker lights work on the deluxe hood and in the dash but no where else. I really dont want to re wire the car so anything would help!

Yes i have the original wiring.

1967 Shop manual says: possible defective bulbs or turn signal relay/switch. Have you messed with the steering wheel or horn lately? The turn signal assembly behind the steering wheel may have a short....keep us posted..

i second the idea of checking the turn signal relay. my cars turning signals didnt work at all, nor the hazards untill one day i took apart my steering wheel and all of a sudden my hazards work but not the turn signal lever. so i know the bulbs work, wireing works up untill my steering column. so i plan to change the turning signal relay.

btw i have the delux hood with turn signals in it as well. was this a popular feature, or is it rare?

I guess the next question is, where is the switch?

It's probable that the turnsignal switch is defective . It is located at the top of the steering column under the steering wheel.

One easy step to do is check your grounds. Just takes a little time. It could be as easy as tightening a screw. Does the signal lights work in the rear? Brake lights? Flashers?
