ha. wow dodge. i was just asking what you used to build it. anyway you build your motor, its not going to hurt it by putting a better breathing intake system.
yes it can you can over carb it have a single plane on a stock steert motor etc.

you can use a super you just need to match everything

its like a marathon runner if you try to breath thru a drinking straw hes not gonna make it very far is he? now reverse it you have something forcing air in him he has to be able to get rid of efficently also

yes so thats my question. what if you have a smaller pump? that would match a mild 351 right? now if your pushing 500+ then your gonna need a bigger pump and tubing? i was looking at the company that makes the novi charger and its classified into cfm i guess for the amount of hp capiable.

sorry i just thought it would be a neat project to try to build a small one for mine. might help me a bit.

Sorry...I couldn't resist.

I like most others only try to help, iirc that is a 3k blower above. He became a dealer of paxton chargers just so he could get a discount on that unit

You can easily mount up an accesory SC with the addition of the unit, the bracket, the pulleys, the carb hat, and a carb suitable for a pressurized application you are prob in the area of 3k for an entry level setup. You should really address the fueling, the ignition, and the motor itself. Once you add boost you quickly find all the loose points in your system and it can be very very bad (as in breaking your motor down the middle bad) when you add boost and don't do it right.

I called jegs and they said with a novi thats not too radical, all I needed was some good heads, carb, headers, intake, cam. With these mods the supercharger would do fine if everything else is stock.

Thanks for all the info. Can you stroke the motor and still run a supercharger? Should I keep the 4 v heads?
