Default No wing windows?

Anyone know if it's possible to modify the door windows and eliminate the wing?? Seen any around like that?

^ He's talking about the small triangle window in front of the roll upand downdoor glass(the65 mph air conditioner). There was one guy I saw at the spring fling a couple of years ago who manufactured them. He also smoked them so you don't have to tint.I tried to find his card, but SWMBO seems to have cleaned out my business card basket[:@]. I believe his company was called Vintage auto glass or vintage glass,or something like that.

oh got it thanks, my car doesn't have the wing in front (its behind the door) so it didn't click

I'm not sure if you can do that because I believe it is there because the window wouldn't roll down if it was a bigger peice of glass including the wing section. I could be wrong though and there might be a way to do it, but then you have to deal with custom shaped glass and whatnot.

he means the little window that flips out on the 64-68 like the early trucks had.It can be done theres no kits i know so your stuck making the window tracks and custom ordering new glass its not cheap.

I wish they still put vent wings in cars, I thought they were great.

I think they're great too. They're super at defrosting your window, if you don't mind being cold for a second.

It would be a shameif one of those fellout........ Well, anyway, I think that their was one of the one piece windows on the market sometime. I can't remember who had it, but I'm thinking it was something like 6mark5 said, "Vintage something". I would be interested also if someone comes up with something.
