Default Hawk Racing?

Can anyone tell me about the quality of hawk racing parts? I found a stroker kit for $659.00 that uses a Hawk Racing crank and connecting rods.

HERE: http://www.themustangdepot.com/servl...ets/Categories

Can anyone fill me in on the quality of these parts and who manufactures them. I have never heard of them. Thanks.

I bought our forged stroker kit from The Mustang Depot, which sourced the parts from Hawks Racing, (I think The Mustang Depot and Hawks Racing are the same people).

IMO thequality of the parts was very good, SCAT crank and rods, Keith Black Pistons, Mahle Rings, Federal Mogul Bearings, etc.

They also balanced the assembly for me (at an extra charge), so I bought the flywheel and balancer from them as well, again good stuff at a good price.

To answer your question more directly, I thinkthe "Hawks Racing crank and rods" will be SCAT.

I will buy from them again.

I forgot to mention that for $700 I don't think you can go wrong,,, it would be hard (or impossible) to go back stock for that money assuming you replace all of the same stuff.

I didn't used to be a stroker fan, but they are making some damn economical kits these days, so economical in factthat it is hard to say no to a stroker. I couldn't...
